No candidate is perfect, and you may not agree with every position or every vote. But in a constitutional republic, one of our most important responsibilities is to be informed and to vote.

In the Hamilton County August 6, 2026 election, there are only four contested primary races in the State/Federal primary. This guide identifies the candidates selected based on the criteria and principles described throughout the guide.

For the General election, voters will typically choose between nominees from different political parties. Those races present a different set of choices than a contested primary, making it important to evaluate each candidate carefully, understand where they stand on the issues, and cast an informed vote.
